Screening Policy/Police Check Procedure

Pursuant to the Sask. Sport Safe Sport Screening Policy, the Bowling Federation of Saskatchewan requires all volunteers in a non-regular or informal basis such as volunteers for events or tournaments, Judges of Play, YBC Coordinators or supervisors, all coaches – coaching YBC or adults, team Managers, chaperons, employees, Board members, Executive members and especially anyone working with or who has access to vulnerable participants, to adhere to the Safe Sport Screening Policy by submitting a Vulnerable Sector Police Check document to the Bowling Federation of Saskatchewan Screening Officer every 3 years.

A Police Check database will be maintained by the Executive Director of the Bowling Federation of Saskatchewan.  Please contact the Screening Officer to inquire whether a person is in compliance of the Screening Policy and is eligible to volunteer or coach.
