Doug McCaw inducted to the Regina Sports Hall of Fame

Doug McCaw is being inducted into the Regina Sports Hall of Fame on October 4th. Doug’s list of accomplishments and achievements include:

  • Two-time Canadian men’s five-pin bowling champion: 1994 in Winnipeg and 2004 in St. John’s, N.L.
  • Part of Saskatchewan men’s team that won Canadian team championship in 2007 in Sudbury
  • Saskatchewan men’s singles champion in 1993, 1994, 1998, 2000 and 2007
  • Provincial masters singles champion in 1999, 2000 and 2004
  • Member of provincial men’s team champions in 1993, 1994, 1998, 2000, 2006, 2007 and 2008
  • Part of the provincial mixed championship team in 1986
  • Coached Saskatchewan teams at Canadian Open in 1986 and 1987
  • Rolled two perfect games, in 2000 and 1993, latter winning him $50,000 during Canadian championships
  • Won first national title with Saskatchewan’s 1974 senior boys YBC team
